    Oral Care Advice

Regular  at-home oral care is essential for maintaining the health of your teeth, gums, and jaws. Since everyone’s circumstances and needs are different, it’s best to tailor your oral care routine to your individual needs. We’ll help you choose the right tools and show you how to clean your teeth as effectively as possible.

Oral Hygiene Treatments

  • Home Oral Care

Our overall health includes the health of our mouth (our teeth, gums, and jaws). Regular oral care at home is essential to maintaining this health. Since everyone’s needs and circumstances are different, this must be tailored to the individual. This is where we can help you: we’ll assist you in selecting the right tools and show you how to use them to clean your teeth as effectively as possible.

  • Scaling

Tartar is calcified plaque on the surface of the teeth that cannot be removed by brushing alone. In addition to being unattractive, plaque and tartar are responsible for gum disease. At our clinic, we remove tartar using a state-of-the-art ultrasonic device. We recommend that our patients undergo scaling regularly, usually every six months.

  • Air Polishing

Air polishing thoroughly yet gently cleans the teeth from surface stains that cannot be removed by regular brushing at home. During this procedure, very fine-grained, lightly flavoured baking soda is applied to the tooth surface under high pressure. This method effectively removes stains caused by coffee, tea, smoking, and red wine.

  • Treatment of Tooth Sensitivity

Exposed tooth necks may become sensitive to cold and heat. To treat this, we apply a special gel or varnish with a high fluoride content to the teeth, which quickly and effectively relieves the unpleasant symptoms. For home use, we recommend toothpaste and mouthwash designed for sensitive teeth.

Dental Filling

Fillings

Replacing an old, discolored filling is not just a matter of aesthetics. Bacteria can accumulate along the edges of a poorly fitting filling and cause tooth decay. At our clinic, we use the latest materials and techniques to restore the beauty and health of your teeth.

Inlay

For larger cavities or teeth that have undergone root canal treatment, we prepare an aesthetic inlay. This is similar to a filling, but instead of being placed directly in the mouth, it is fabricated in a dental laboratory based on an impression. The dentist then bonds the  inlay to the tooth. It can be made of composite or ceramic.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Teeth Whitening
Coffee, tea, red wine, and smoking can stain teeth. Teeth whitening uses chemical methods to remove stains that have penetrated into the enamel. For long-lasting and safe results, professional supervision is recommended in all cases.
Full Ceramic Crowns
Metal-free ceramic crowns, which look strikingly similar to natural teeth, meet even the highest aesthetic standards. These solutions are also recommended for people with metal allergies.

Dental Prosthetics

When replacing missing teeth, our primary goal is to choose a stable, durable, and aesthetic solution for you. During our first appointment, we will inform you about your options and prepare a detailed treatment plan. We will discuss what other treatments may be necessary (e.g., fillings, oral hygiene treatment) to prepare for the dental restoration.

  • Metal-Ceramic Restorations

Based on a digital impression of the teeth, a highly precise, computer-designed metal framework is created using 3D printing in the dental laboratory. Ceramic is then fired onto this framework in multiple layers, step by step, to ensure that the final restoration looks as natural as possible.

  • Metal-Free Dental Restorations

A variety of metal-free dental restorations meet even the highest aesthetic standards. We can replace multiple teeth using high-strength zirconia ceramic bridges, whose frameworks are designed using computer-aided design. The custom finish is achieved by firing ceramic onto the framework. Individual teeth can also be replaced with bridges made of composite.

  • Implant-Supported Dental Restorations

Missing teeth can be replaced with dental implants. One advantage of this approach is that the adjacent teeth do not need to be prepared. In many cases, implants also allow for a more stable restoration than if we were to rely solely on the existing teeth. We perform implant-supported dental restorations in close cooperation with our oral surgery partners.

    Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment can help save painful, inflamed teeth. During this procedure, we first open up the tooth’s inner cavity, then clean, disinfect, and fill it. We take special care to ensure that this is pain-free for you. We perform the treatment using the latest techniques and materials. Thanks to the special, machine-assisted preparation of the root canals, the treatment is more thorough and faster, and even narrow, curved root canals can be cleaned. A filling alone is often insufficient for the permanent restoration of a root-filled tooth; instead, we recommend the fabrication of an inlay or crown. A successfully treated tooth can be preserved for many years to come!
